Our Philosophy

Ayurveda, or 'knowledge of right living' (from Ayu 'life' and Veda 'knowledge'), teaches that every plant, flower, stone, and aroma has a healing effect.

Shila Abhyanga
Indian Hot Stone Massage. Smooth stones heated to "luxurious warmth" are oiled and glided over specific marma points to dissolve stress, knots, and balance mind and body.

Shirodhara
The treatment of Ananda (Bliss). A luxurious head massage followed by warm oil poured continuously over the forehead. Reduces stress, anxiety, and sleeplessness.

Yumura Facial
Classical ancient uptan facial. We diagnose your skin needs and use Avani Vedic Beauty products to unlock your natural glow and provide next-level nourishment.

Udwarthanam Body Scrub
A traditional Vedic therapy involving a vigorous scrub to invigorate, promote detoxification, and restore vitality. Finished with luxurious Avani organic body butter.

Head & Foot Treatment
(Shiro & Pada Abhyanga). Begins with a foot soak in medicated water while head and neck are massaged with Avani hair oil to nourish hair and increase Prana.

Mobile Services: We can bring these healing treatments to you. A $30 travel fee applies for all mobile services.
Retreat Services: Planning a retreat? We can design a custom treatment menu to suit your event. An additional $20 is added to each service for retreats.

Black Sesame Oil
In classical Ayurveda, Black Sesame Oil is heralded as the king of oils for Abhyanga (self-massage). Unlike regular oils, black sesame seeds contain the highest concentration of Prana (life force) and deeply penetrating minerals.
